Positivus Festival Moves from Lucavsala to Mezaparks

The Positivus music festival, which has been held in Riga in recent years, will take place for only one day in 2026 and will move to a new venue. The organizers explain this by the desire to create a rich and unforgettable musical event featuring popular artists.

This year, the main guest of the festival will be Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris — his performance at the Great Stage of Mezaparks in Riga is scheduled for August 6 and will be the artist's only performance in the Baltic countries in 2026.

Harris is one of the most influential figures in electronic dance music of the 21st century. The musician has 14 MTV VMA nominations and two wins, five Grammy nominations, and a Grammy award for Best Music Video — We Found Love.

Despite the shortened format to one day, the organizers promise a rich musical program with several artists who will create a full festival atmosphere from the moment of opening until the end of the concerts.

This year's festival will take place at the Great Stage of Mezaparks in Riga, which, according to the organizers, will create a new unique experience for the audience.
