It has been announced that the performance of the famous British DJ and iconic figure of dance music Pete Tong in Riga on February 6 will be warmed up by local club music legend Bogdan Taran. As previously reported, resident of the most popular clubs in Ibiza and producer Pete Tong will return to Riga after more than a decade with a DJ set at FIRST club in Andrejsala.
Bogdan Taran is one of the few DJs in the Baltics who performed at the Love Parade festival (Baltic Groove Union platform) in Berlin, which in 2006 opened the Sensation White show in Latvia and in 2008 played a warm-up set at Paul Van Dyk's concert in Riga.
Since the early 1990s, Bogdan has been a significant figure in music journalism in Latvia - on television shows IGE TV, KS-Video, print publications, and radio programs Radio Dejas, Mix FM, Super FM. His highly acclaimed music program "Dance Box" aired from 1998 to 2016 in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Moldova.
Bogdan Taran has performed at numerous international events in the Baltic countries, France, Germany, Ireland, Finland, Moldova, and other countries. His festival experience includes events such as UNDER Festival, Positivus, SunDance Music Festival in Estonia, the MN2S stage at the Essential Knockout festival, Baltic Beach Party, Moonlight Party, Fashion TV Baltic Carnival, and many others.
