Continuing the cycle of works by maestro Raymond Pauls “Raymond Pauls. Seasons,” which is also dedicated to celebrating his 90th anniversary, another concert of the program — “Spring” — will take place on March 9 at 19:00 at the VEF Cultural Palace.
On this evening, singers Ugis Roze, Elza Rozentāle, Atis Auzāns, Ieva Sutugova, and Normunds Zušs will take the stage. They will perform songs by Raymond Pauls to the lyrics of Latvian poets, including “Mēs tikāmies martā,” “Cīruli, cīruli,” “Lakstīgala,” “Rasa,” “Kūko, kūko, dzeguzīte,” “Dziesma par gaili,” “Pavasaris,” “Tu nāc, tu ej,” “Ai, dundur, dundur, dun,” and other works.
The musical accompaniment of the concert will be provided by the ARMaestro group under the direction of Anatolijs Livcits, and the mixed choir Mundus from the Adazi Regional Cultural Center will add a special sound to the program.
