Actor Johnny Depp will produce a new adaptation of "The Master and Margarita" — this will be the first English-language adaptation of the eponymous work by Mikhail Bulgakov.
Johnny Depp will produce the film through his company IN.2 Film. There is currently no director attached to the adaptation, and filming is expected to begin at the end of 2026.
Despite the worldwide fame of "The Master and Margarita," the novel has never received an English-language adaptation, despite numerous attempts by a range of directors, including Roman Polanski, Federico Fellini, Terry Gilliam, and others.
According to Deadline, the cast has not yet been confirmed, but fans hope that Depp will play one of the lead roles in the film.
