On December 21, the concert "Hogwarts Symphony" will take place on the stage of the Riga Latvian Society House, where the symphony orchestra "Tynda.music" will perform the brightest musical moments from all parts of the legendary film saga.
The most popular musical themes from the Oscar-nominated Harry Potter films will once again allow you to immerse yourself in the adventures of the most famous student of Hogwarts School and his friends, as well as the ongoing battle against the relentless foe - the evil wizard Lord Voldemort.
The Harry Potter films, based on the novels by British author J.K. Rowling, are among the most in-demand in cinema history. The series of eight films ranks third in the world with a total revenue of nearly $8 billion.
Undoubtedly, an important role in this success was played by the music created by Oscar-winning composers John Williams and Alexandre Desplat, as well as super-talented Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper.
John Williams composed the music for the first three Harry Potter films. For example, the famous "Hedwig's Theme," the classic Hogwarts motif performed by a children's choir about double trouble, or the cheerful "Aunt Marge's Waltz."
Patrick Doyle's Hogwarts Anthem from the fourth Harry Potter film will transport viewers to the mysterious and dark world of the Triwizard Tournament. Nicholas Hooper wrote "Dumbledore's Farewell" for the fifth and sixth Harry Potter films. Alexandre Desplat composed the music for the last two films, creating a grand and memorable finale.
