Sugar is the main cause of cavities

Sugar causes addiction
So far, researchers have not found evidence supporting the theory of sugar addiction. There is also no data indicating that sugar causes eating disorders.
Sugar is the main cause of weight gain
Many diet programs recommend avoiding sweets, as they can contribute to weight gain. However, studies show that the consumption of sugar and high-sugar products does not lead to weight gain if the total calorie intake does not exceed the norm. Although sweets are often more calorie-dense, sugar itself is not the cause of obesity.
Consuming sugar causes diabetes

Sugar stimulates the growth of cancer cells

However, it was later found that cancer cells can obtain glucose regardless of sugar consumption. Sugar itself does not cause cancer, but its excessive consumption can lead to obesity, which in turn increases the risk of cancer.
