British scientist and nutrition expert Sarah Kemp has seriously addressed the question of how to eat ice cream correctly to maximize enjoyment. Dr. Kemp even derived an exact formula for optimal ice cream consumption — (i@ — 14°C + ½S + UDS + 12s) x 2 = MF*. This mathematical expression represents a scientific description of the correct sequence of actions that allows one to fully reveal the flavor of ice cream by activating all of a person's taste receptors.
In simple terms, this sequence can be explained as follows:
1. Take the ice cream out of the freezer, remove the packaging, and let it warm up to a temperature of 14 °C. It should become slightly soft, which will take about 15 minutes.
2. Take two teaspoons. One will be used to measure portions — half a spoonful of ice cream — and the other will be for eating. Hold the spoon you will eat with upside down.
