Such storage conditions are also not recommended for chocolate: a sharp temperature change alters the texture of this product. Unripe bananas can harden and lose their flavor. Coffee absorbs moisture, losing its taste and aroma.
Garlic will start to sprout quickly, so it is not recommended to keep it in the refrigerator. However, there is another way. Garlic cloves can be peeled, soaked in olive oil, and placed in an airtight glass container. They can also be frozen — both whole and chopped.
