Lard is considered a healthy product, and some people need to eat it constantly. Nutritionist Yuri Lysikov spoke about the indications.
The specialist noted that there are several categories of people who urgently need to include lard in their diet. First of all, these are those who work in heavy, sometimes extreme conditions, such as in construction or logging.
Lard will also help those who work hard at their summer cottages. A lot of energy is spent on gardening and household chores, as summer residents know. Eating 2–3 pieces of the product will provide additional energy.
Athletes who get very tired after training were also advised by the doctor to snack on lard. In general, anyone who moves a lot or engages in physical work can consume lard as a substantial snack. The product is quickly digested and easily absorbed. It warms, provides strength, but does not affect body weight. However, one should not overindulge in this valuable source of fats — as is known, everything beneficial is good in moderation.
