The death of the top manager was due to jealousy.
The suspect in the high-profile murder case of a top manager at a Voronezh enterprise claimed he was deceived into getting involved in the situation. He believed he was helping the police apprehend a villain.
27-year-old Andrey Degtyaryov (in the photo), according to the investigation, assisted his friend, police lieutenant colonel Dmitry Koltunov, in dealing with his wife's lover. This concerns the murder of Maxim Permyakov, a top manager at the pipe manufacturing plant "Liskimontazhkonstruction."
However, during the interrogation, Degtyaryov provided a completely different version of events — he thought he was participating in a secret operation. The man had long wanted to join the Ministry of Internal Affairs and, after some time, finally received an interesting offer from his friend, the deputy head of the local police department, Dmitry Koltunov. He asked for help in apprehending a criminal and promised a reward that would bring him closer to employment.
According to Degtyaryov, the operation went as follows: he helped track down and apprehend the villain, and then Koltunov sent his friend to walk around the city while he stayed alone with the criminal. A few hours later, they met again: the law enforcement officer had been beaten and ordered Degtyaryov to burn the clothes.
According to "Baza," investigators initially considered Degtyaryov one of the hitmen. However, after verifying his version of events, they confirmed that he was in a different location at the time of the crime. The murder charge was dropped, but he is now being accused of kidnapping.
