The Latvian national airline airBaltic has canceled all flights to and from Dubai until the end of October due to the security situation in the Middle East, the airline told LETA.
To mitigate the impact of the situation on customers' plans, airBaltic offers passengers the opportunity to choose an alternative flight to one of more than 80 destinations free of charge.
The aircraft scheduled for flights to Dubai will operate on other popular routes to Spain and Cyprus. The airline has added extra flights to Alicante (Spain) from April 23 to August 27, Larnaca (Cyprus) from May 2 to October 17, Barcelona (Spain) from April 18 to August 29, Madrid (Spain) from May 4 to August 31, and Tenerife (Canary Islands) from September 2 to October 23.
Passengers who have already booked flights to or from Dubai until the end of October 2026 and wish to change their booking by moving their flight to another destination can contact the airline at +371 67280422 or by email at bt@airbaltic.com.
For more prompt service, the airline advises passengers whose departure is scheduled for the near future - March, April, and May - to contact the airline first.
