The price of natural gas fell by about 15% on Tuesday after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the war with Iran would end sooner than expected, LETA reports citing AFP.
On the Dutch exchange "Title Transfer Facility" (TTF), the price of natural gas fell to about 48 euros per megawatt-hour on Tuesday after a sharp rise the previous day.
Trump stated in an interview with CBS on Monday that the war between the U.S. and Israel with Iran is largely over.
"I believe this war is largely over. They have no navy, no communication, they have no air force," Trump said in a phone interview with CBS, reiterating his assessment of Iran's losses that he had expressed in previous days.
