Fuel Prices Announced in Riga, Vilnius, and Tallinn

During the past work week, due to events in the Middle East, fuel prices rose in all Baltic countries, with the fastest increase in Tallinn and the smallest in Riga, according to data from the LETA agency.

At the end of the work week, the highest gasoline prices were in Riga, followed by Tallinn and Vilnius. Diesel fuel was most expensive in Vilnius, then in Tallinn, while the lowest diesel price at the end of the work week was in Riga.

In Riga, the price of 95-octane gasoline at the gas station on Krasta Street increased by 5.1% over the week, reaching €1.634 per liter, while diesel fuel rose by 9% over the week and cost €1.694 per liter on Friday.

In Vilnius, at the gas station on Savanoriu Avenue, 95-octane gasoline was priced at €1.614 per liter, which is 1.9% higher than the week before, while diesel fuel increased by 6.9% to €1.854 per liter.

In Tallinn, the price of 95-octane gasoline at the gas station rose by 10.5% over the week, reaching €1.629 per liter, while diesel fuel cost €1.739 per liter, which is 25.2% higher than the week before.

The price of autogas in Riga remained unchanged over the week, standing at €0.935 per liter on Friday. In Vilnius, autogas increased by 10.7% to €0.829, while in Tallinn it rose by 0.3% to €0.898 per liter.
