The timber trading company LLC "Palešu kompānija" has been liquidated, according to information from "Firmas.lv," writes LETA.
The company "Palešu kompānija" was removed from the Register of Enterprises on February 20.
As previously reported by LETA, the turnover and profit from the core activities of "Palešu kompānija" significantly decreased, as in June 2023, its main client "Scott Timber Ltd" ceased purchasing timber.
At the same time, the management report of "Palešu kompānija" for 2024 stated that the company had ceased active trading, citing an unfavorable situation in the UK timber market.
In 2023, "Palešu kompānija" operated with a turnover of 4.603 million euros, which is 7.7 times less than the previous year, and the company's profit decreased by 5.1 times to 175,146 euros.
The company was registered in 2004, with a share capital of 2,845 euros. The sole owner of "Palešu kompānija" is the UK-registered company "Scott Group Investments Limited."
