Retail chain closes store on Krasta Street

The Sky supermarket chain has closed its store in Riga on Krasta Street, reports the LETA agency. It is not surprising; it is astonishing that a store with such a strange concept (high prices-low foot traffic) lasted many years...

Currently, the company has not provided comments to the LETA agency regarding the store closure.

According to data from the Firmas.lv portal, as of January 21 of this year, the store management company Sky, SIA Skai Baltija, had a registered tax debt, administered by the State Revenue Service, amounting to 930,617 euros.

In 2024, Skai Baltija operated with a turnover of 23.741 million euros, which is 17.3% less compared to the previous year. At the same time, the company incurred losses of 2.625 million euros.

The company was registered in 2016, and its share capital is 300,000 euros. The sole owner of Skai Baltija is Aivars Rubenis.
