Gasoline and diesel prices in the capitals of the Baltics rise and fall differently

Last work week, compared to the last full work week, different trends in fuel price changes were observed in the capitals of the Baltic states, according to aggregated data from the LETA agency.

At the end of the work week, the highest price for gasoline was in Riga, followed by Vilnius and Tallinn. At the same time, the most expensive diesel fuel was sold in Vilnius, then in Riga, while the lowest price was in Tallinn.

In Riga, at the Circle K gas station on Krasta Street, the price for both 95 octane gasoline and diesel remained stable compared to December 19 of last year, standing at 1.534 euros and 1.514 euros per liter, respectively, on Friday.

In Vilnius, at the Circle K station on Savanorių Avenue, 95 octane gasoline cost 1.464 euros per liter, which is 0.3% more compared to the previous work Friday, while the price of diesel fuel decreased by 2.2% to 1.544 euros per liter on Friday.

In Tallinn, at Circle K stations on Friday, 95 octane gasoline cost 1.429 euros per liter, which is 3.4% less compared to the previous work Friday, and the price of diesel fell by 4.7% to 1.324 euros per liter.

The price of autogas in Riga increased by 3.3% compared to the Friday before Christmas, reaching 0.945 euros per liter on Friday. In Vilnius, the price of autogas also rose by 5.2% to 0.809 euros per liter. Meanwhile, in Tallinn, the price of autogas decreased by 0.1% to 0.897 euros per liter.
