The average daily electricity price on the exchange on Friday, December 26, will significantly increase compared to the previous day, ERR reports.
Compared to Thursday, when the price is 0.2–0.3 cents (the lowest level since the end of June), on Friday the average daily electricity price in the Latvian price zone of the Nord Pool exchange will increase by 1900% to 4.9 cents per kilowatt-hour.
In Lithuania, electricity will also cost 4 cents on Friday, which is cheaper than in Estonia. In Finland, a significantly lower rate of 0.3 cents is expected.
It should be noted that various fees and taxes are added to the indicated prices for end consumers.
