The Competition Council (CC) imposed a fine of more than 1.8 million euros on one of the largest food retail enterprises in Latvia for unfair trading practices, the LETA agency was informed by the CC.
The fine was imposed on the company for violating the law on the prohibition of unfair trading practices.
More details about the violation will be provided by the Competition Council at a press conference on Thursday, November 6.
