Poland sharply reacted to being excluded from the negotiations in London.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk sharply reacted to Poland's absence from the negotiating table in London, where discussions on Ukraine were held in the format of "E3 + Ukraine" with the participation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and French President Emmanuel Macron along with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to Donald Tusk, Poland does not agree to decisions made without its participation: "Any agreements in which Poland does not participate will not be observed by us, meaning they will not bind us. Poland is an absolutely necessary link for serious discussions about the future of Ukraine and the region," Polish Radio quotes the president in Russian.
Donald Tusk believes that numerous negotiation formats in Europe create tension and hinder quick decisions.
Commenting on Europe's role in the conflict, Tusk emphasized: "No one in Europe will play the role of an arbiter between Russia and Ukraine. We are on Ukraine's side. Ukraine must not lose this war; Russia must not win it."
