Civinity Mājas donated three vehicles that will be used for providing humanitarian aid in Ukraine. The project was implemented in close cooperation with colleagues from Lithuania.
As the war in Ukraine continues for over four years, practical assistance remains extremely important. Vehicles are one of the most sought-after resources today: they are used for delivering humanitarian aid, evacuating people, and performing other vital tasks.
The transfer of vehicles also involved the chairman of the Latvian Bar Association, Saulvedis Varpinsh, who helped coordinate the provision of assistance and will ensure the delivery of the vehicles to Ukraine.
"Such initiatives remind us that helping Ukraine is not just words or good intentions, but concrete actions that can provide the much-needed support in everyday situations. We see how important it is today to be there and help with real deeds," noted Saulvedis Varpinsh.
The chairman of the board of Civinity Group, Deividas Jatka, emphasized that supporting Ukraine is a common position of the entire group: "We cannot remain indifferent to what the people of Ukraine experience every day. Solidarity today means not only words but also practical actions.
In recent weeks, we have also witnessed incidents involving drones in Lithuania and Latvia. The enemy's goal is to sow fear and chaos, weaken support for Ukraine. By continuing to help, we demonstrate our resilience, unity, and strong will."
The operational director, Edgars Jelaginsh, noted that such initiatives are important not only as a symbolic gesture but also as real help for people living in conditions of war every day: "We see that Ukraine still needs constant support. In such moments, it is important not to remain on the sidelines and help where it is needed the most."
Lithuanian entrepreneur Karolis Sankauskas also participated in the vehicle transfer, regularly going on humanitarian missions to areas near the front line to personally deliver aid to people living in the most dangerous zones. One of the vehicles was specifically donated for his charitable missions.
