Russian forces have launched new strikes on Ukraine, resulting in the deaths of at least three people and injuries to 20 others, reports DW. On the evening of April 10, the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike on the residential sector in Sumy, injuring 17 people, including a 14-year-old teenager, according to the police of Sumy region on the morning of Saturday, April 11. According to their data, 12 apartment buildings and one private house, a kindergarten, and 10 cars were also damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), the first strike hit a high-rise building, resulting in the roof being destroyed and a fire breaking out. After extinguishing the fire, rescuers began dismantling the emergency structures. Five people sought medical help for acute stress reactions.
Strikes on Odessa and Poltava Region
In Odessa, as a result of new Russian strikes on the night of April 11, at least two people were killed and two others were injured, reported the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak. According to him, significant damage was inflicted on civilian infrastructure: dozens of private and apartment buildings, a dormitory, as well as a kindergarten building. Windows were shattered in the houses, and roofs and facades were damaged. Additionally, food establishments were also damaged.
In the Poltava region, as a result of a Russian strike on the Lubny district, one person was killed and another injured, with damage to a store and a café, reported the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Dyakivnych.
