Over the past two months, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have made greater progress at the front.
Russia has lost its advantage in the war against Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by former CIA Director David Petraeus in an interview with CBS.
"I think it’s notable that Russia no longer has the advantage. Russia significantly outnumbers Ukraine. It surpasses Ukraine in weaponry. Its economy is 10 or 12 times larger than Ukraine's. And yet, Ukrainian forces are now stopping the Russians at the front lines," he said.
He noted that over the past two months, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have made greater progress at the front than Russia. At the same time, he pointed out that such a scenario was considered unlikely due to Russia's advantage in manpower and economic scale. However, the Defense Forces managed to achieve this thanks to innovations in their drone systems.
"The real genius lies in how they integrate all of this," Petraeus added, referring to the overall command and control ecosystem within the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Petraeus also noted that in the coming years, fully autonomous systems may emerge in Ukraine. Humans will define missions for them, while robots will execute them.
