A cargo ship of Russia in the Sea of Azov was struck by a Ukrainian drone

The Ukrainian UAV was the cause of the sinking of the Russian cargo ship "Volgo-Balt".

The reason for the sinking of the cargo ship "Volgo-Balt" in the Sea of Azov was an attack by a UAV from Ukraine. This was reported on Telegram by the governor of the occupied Kherson region of Russia, Vladimir Saldo.

According to the occupying authorities, this occurred on April 3, but it took two days for the sailors who survived from the sinking vessel to reach the shore near the village of Strelkovoye in the Kherson region and make contact, recounting what happened.

One person was killed in the attack by the Ukrainian UAV, while the fate of two others remains unknown.

"The captain has been hospitalized in the Genichesk Central District Hospital. The other sailors are also receiving medical and psychological assistance. This is not the first case where Ukraine attacks civilian vessels in neutral waters. There will be a response for these crimes," Saldo noted.
