Thanks to its military and production, Ukraine now has 'maps,' and everyone understands this, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Irish blogger Kilan Robertson, published on Wednesday, LETA reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

Last week, the President of Ukraine announced that the U.S., amid the ongoing war with Iran, asked Ukraine to assist in defending against 'Shahed' drones.

In an interview with Robertson, the president commented on the feeling that the U.S. has now reached out directly to Ukraine rather than Germany or France.

"The feeling is good. It is now so thanks to our military, wonderful people, and the large amount of various products that we have increased production of since the beginning of the war. We now have a high level," Zelensky noted.

"The Americans asked us, and I am, of course, proud that we can help our American partners," the president said.

Zelensky added that Ukraine has 'maps' that it had not shown before.

"I believe I had them a year ago, but we did not show them. But now everyone understands that we have them. Yes, it’s true," the president noted.

In February of last year, during a visit to the White House in Washington, there was a sharp exchange of remarks between Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as Vice President James David Vance.

During the meeting in the Oval Office, which took place in the presence of journalists, Trump told Zelensky that he had 'no maps.'
