Donald Trump stated that on March 7, a "very strong blow" would be dealt to Iran. He wrote this on the social network Truth Social.
According to him, "due to Iran's bad behavior," the possibility of "total destruction and imminent death of those areas and groups of people that had not been considered for strikes until now" is being considered.
Trump also commented on the words of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who apologized to neighboring countries for attacks against them and promised not to strike them again. In the opinion of the U.S. president, this means that Iran has "surrendered to its Middle Eastern neighbors."
"This promise was made only because of the unrelenting strikes from the U.S. and Israel. They wanted to seize power in the Middle East and rule it. For the first time in thousands of years, Iran has lost to the surrounding Middle Eastern countries. They said, 'Thank you, President Trump.' I said, 'You're welcome!'" Trump stated in his post.
He also called Iran a "loser," which will remain so for "many decades to come, until it surrenders or completely collapses."
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the public on March 7, stating that Tehran would not attack neighboring countries if there were no strikes from their territory. Pezeshkian also apologized to neighboring countries for the strikes that had occurred over the past week.
