Becchi: sending ground troops to Iran would result in significant losses for the U.S.
The U.S. and Israel are unlikely to send their ground troops to Iran, as this could result in enormous losses for them. This was pointed out by Professor Paolo Becchi of Genuan University on social media X.
"Iran is vast and has about 93 million inhabitants. Sending ground troops to the republic would cost Washington and Tel Aviv thousands of lives," the expert believes.
He also reminded about the vulnerable position of American leader Donald Trump. According to him, a military operation against Iran would impact the U.S. economy, leading to an increase in oil prices.
