The sea journey promises to be comfortable.

Yacht clubs have launched 30-hour trips from Herzliya amid the war with Iran - demand is high despite the price and challenging conditions at sea.

Many Israelis are stranded abroad due to the war with Iran and are seeking alternative ways to return. A mutual aid group has appeared on social media, and yacht clubs have started offering so-called rescue trips on the route Israel - Cyprus.

One such initiative was launched by the yacht club and sailing school Sailor. The club organizes crossings from Herzliya to Cyprus and back. The cost is 1500 euros per person. Despite the high price and the fact that the 30-hour crossing in open water this season comes with challenging conditions, demand, according to the organizers, is very high.

On board, there are three double cabins; however, the organizers warn: this is 30 hours in open water, without mobile communication and with changing weather conditions. Before confirming participation, a separate conversation is held with each passenger, where all risks and features of the crossing are explained.

Other initiatives are also in operation. The sailing school DreamSail has also announced the launch of trips from Israel to Cyprus and from Cyprus to Israel. According to the organizers, the crossings are accompanied by experienced skippers, equipped with a full set of safety equipment, and are intended for those who need to reach their destination safely.
