Iran Launched Missiles Towards Cyprus

British Defense Minister John Healey stated that Iran launched two missiles towards Cyprus, where British military bases are located. This was reported by the Independent.

"We are confident that they (the missiles) were not aimed at our bases," Healey added. However, according to the British minister, the events demonstrate that Iran is retaliating indiscriminately.

In addition, the minister noted that 300 British troops were near the targets of the strikes in Bahrain. Some of the servicemen, Healey pointed out, were within a few hundred meters of the locations that were attacked.

It was previously reported that Iran promised an unprecedented strike against Israel and U.S. bases. This statement was made by the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, Ali Larijani.

Before this, it became known that Iranian army fighters struck American bases. This concerns bases in the Persian Gulf countries and Iraqi Kurdistan.
