Trump was right not to ask Congress about the strike on Iran, said New York State Assembly member Mikhail Novakhov in a special broadcast on RTVI US.

The politician expressed the opinion that a military operation against Iran should have been carried out a long time ago, as the current government of the Islamic Republic threatens the stability of the region and openly expresses hostility towards the United States.

Mikhail Novakhov also noted that instead of criticism, Congress should unanimously support the administration's decision:

"How can one condemn a strike against those who shoot at our soldiers, who threaten our allies and us, who call for the death of our leaders? As long as there are such people in Congress, there is no need to ask Congress about conducting military operations," the expert believes.
