Zelensky Discussed the Results of Negotiations in Geneva with NATO Secretary General

Zelensky discussed the negotiations in Geneva and the situation in Ukrainian energy.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the outcomes of the trilateral negotiations (with the USA and Russia) aimed at ending the war initiated by Putin's Russia and the current situation in the energy sector with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The head of the republic reported this on his Telegram channel.

Zelensky expressed satisfaction with the similarity of his views on the ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine with Rutte's opinion. "I am glad that our views largely coincide," the Ukrainian president stated.

Additionally, during the conversation, positions were coordinated on all key issues of joint diplomatic work. Zelensky also informed Rutte about the preparation for the next trilateral meeting with representatives of the USA and Russia regarding the resolution of the Kremlin's war in the republic.

One of the main outcomes of the previous negotiations in Geneva, Zelensky noted, was the agreement that the United States would be responsible for monitoring the ceasefire after the peace deal is concluded. He emphasized that the next round of trilateral discussions should take place by the end of February.
