Trump signed an order imposing tariffs on imports from all countries.
U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an order imposing a global tariff of 10 percent on imports from all countries around the world.
The new tariffs are reported to take effect on February 25 and will remain in place for 150 days.
"I just signed from the Oval Office an order for a global tariff on all countries, which will take effect almost immediately," Trump stated.
Previously, Trump explained the necessity of imposing tariffs as a means of allegedly establishing peace on the planet. According to him, tariffs were used to supposedly end five out of eight wars.
