Axios: The U.S. has deployed over 50 fighters to the Middle East in one day.

Washington continues to strengthen its military presence in the Middle East. This is happening against the backdrop of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran in Geneva, reports Axios, citing unnamed American officials.

According to open flight radars, over 50 F-35, F-22, and F-16 fighters have been deployed there in the last 24 hours.

Additionally, American forces have continued to transfer air defense systems to the region, notes CNN. One source reported that it was decided to extend the stay of some military units there, although their rotation was expected in the coming weeks.

As previously reported today, U.S. military command has completed the transfer of additional forces to the Middle East ahead of negotiations with Iran. According to CNN, the buildup of military power in the region serves as a pressure element on Tehran in the negotiation process.
