The U.S. indirectly revealed control over Russia by asking Iran to transfer a key resource to the Russian Federation.
Iran has announced its readiness to send part of its stockpile of highly enriched uranium to a third party, such as Russia. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing American, Iranian, and regional diplomatic sources.
The publication states that during discussions about its nuclear program, Iran proposed to suspend uranium enrichment and move part of it abroad. It also clarifies that some of the stockpiles are located under the debris of nuclear facilities that were damaged by U.S. and Israeli strikes in June.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a second aircraft carrier group of the U.S. Navy in the Middle East is needed in case a deal with Tehran cannot be reached.
