Rubio assessed the progress of negotiations on Greenland 0 8

Negotiations regarding U.S. control over Greenland have taken a positive trajectory. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

"A good process has been established, we are working with them (representatives of Denmark and Greenland — ed.). I have very positive and optimistic feelings about the fact that we are on a good trajectory," he said at a press conference after talks with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

Earlier, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen spoke about the threat to Greenland from Russia and China. According to her, there is currently no such problem.

Previously, the threat from Moscow and Beijing was cited as a reason for transferring the island to the United States. In particular, U.S. President Donald Trump called for removing Russia and China from Greenland.
