Macron: Europe will be swept away in five years if nothing is done.
Europe is at a stage where it can only rely on itself. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.
In his opinion, the residents of European countries feel despair and cannot imagine how far the United States is willing to go. The French leader added that he is referring not only to the situation in Greenland, which has shown Europe that it is under threat.
"If we do nothing, Europe will be swept away in five years," Macron stated.
