Former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer advocated for the nuclear rearmament of European countries. He stated this in an interview with Tagesspiegel.
"Europe must do this because American security guarantees are now in question," said the former head of the German Foreign Office.
According to Fischer, it would be a serious mistake for Germany to view the nuclear issue as a national problem. "Germany must never act alone again, never. We need our European partners," he noted.
