The Minister of the Greenland government refused to hand over mineral resources to the U.S.
Greenland will reject an agreement between U.S. President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte if it contains a question of Washington's access to mineral resources. This was stated by the Minister of Mineral Resources of the Danish island's government, Naaja Nathanielsen, writes Politico.
The leadership of Greenland is not willing to agree that decisions about the future development of the mineral sector will be made outside the island, the minister emphasized.
