Pezeshkian: An attack on Khamenei will be regarded as a declaration of war.
The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, spoke about the consequences in the event of an attack on the country's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. He wrote about this on social media platform X.
"An attack on the Supreme Leader of our country is equivalent to a full-scale war against the Iranian people," he wrote.
Pezeshkian stated that the difficulties faced by the country's residents are primarily caused by hostility from the West. He specifically pointed to only one country — the United States.
