Carlson: a U.S. strike on Iran could lead to an attack on Israel and an oil crisis.
A possible U.S. strike on Iran carries numerous risks, including an attack by Tehran on Israel and an oil crisis. American journalist Tucker Carlson warned about the consequences that Washington's foreign policy could lead to in a video on his YouTube channel.
"It seems we are expecting imminent strikes on Iran. I have no idea if they will happen or not, but all signs point to something brewing," Carlson stated.
"We could witness Iran striking, for example, Israel with such a volume of weaponry that the famed 'Iron Dome' will not be able to protect the largest Israeli cities, and many people will die," he suggested. The journalist also added that after possible U.S. attacks, Iran could collapse.
Furthermore, according to Carlson, a U.S. strike could lead to Iranian attacks on the infrastructure of Persian Gulf countries, which are the largest producers and exporters of oil. If their infrastructure is incapacitated, a global oil crisis is possible, the journalist stated.
Earlier, it became known that U.S. President Donald Trump expressed to his national security team a desire to deliver a swift and decisive strike on Iran. It was clarified that advisors could not guarantee the American leader that the Iranian regime would quickly fall as a result of a U.S. military strike.
