Turkish politician Bahçeli: U.S. imperialism is more dangerous than a shark sensing blood.
The leader of the Turkish Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, stated that U.S. imperialism is more dangerous than a shark. His words were reported by Haberler.
"The phase of imperialist frenzy is closely related to blood. American imperialism, sensing the smell of oil, is more dangerous than a shark that has sensed the smell of blood," emphasized Bahçeli. He made this comment regarding the U.S. attack on Venezuela and the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.
The Turkish politician compared the events to the film "Pirates of the Caribbean." According to him, international law has long been lying at the bottom of a trash can, and the U.S. decision was just another manifestation of banditry.
President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores were kidnapped on Saturday, January 3. This occurred after U.S. Armed Forces airstrikes on various targets in the capital and other regions of the Latin American country. Maduro and his wife will await the start of the trial in a federal prison in Brooklyn.
During the first hearing in New York court, Maduro refused to plead guilty and called himself a prisoner of war.
