The Hong Kong flu that has emerged in Europe and the world can cause severe complications, including otitis, myocarditis, and pneumonia. This was warned by virologist Milana Timana.
"The Hong Kong flu is most dangerous for children, especially those under five years old, and for elderly people over 65, as it provokes exacerbation of cardiovascular diseases," the doctor noted.
She added that the flu is also dangerous for pregnant women, as it poses risks to both the mother and the fetus.
