Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky needs to "pull himself together" and agree to the peace plan developed by Washington to resolve the conflict. This was stated by American leader Donald Trump in an interview with Politico.
"He will have to pull himself together and start coming to terms with this (peace plan — ed. ‘Lenta.ru’)" said the U.S. president.
At the same time, the head of the White House pointed out that he considers Kyiv's military situation to be a losing one. "They have lost a lot of land, and it was very good land," he emphasized.
Trump also stated that it is time for Ukraine to hold presidential elections. "A lot of time has passed. Things are not too good. I think now is the time to hold elections. They are using the war to avoid holding elections, but I believe the Ukrainian people should have that choice," said the American leader.
