Europe and Ukraine do not have time to delay the issue of seizing frozen Russian assets. This opinion was expressed by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on the social network X.

"I informed Zelensky and the European leaders present at the meeting about two key priorities: supporting Ukraine and enhancing European defense capabilities. We all know that we no longer have time to waste," she stated emotionally.

In her opinion, obtaining financial support will help ensure Ukraine's survival and is a crucial step in securing European defense. The head of the EC once again reminded that Europe aims to seize frozen Russian assets to support Kyiv.

Earlier, media reported that NATO intelligence agencies began surveillance of Euroclear depository employees, where part of the frozen Russian assets is stored.
