Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže is participating today and tomorrow in Elmau, Germany, in the annual "Munich Strategy Retreat," organized by the organizers of the Munich Security Conference.

International representatives and experts in foreign policy, security, and military affairs from Europe and the United States will gather to discuss international security challenges in the world, as well as preparations for the next Munich Security Conference.

According to information published on the organizers' website, the event will bring together 30-50 high-ranking officials and a group of experts in a private, closed setting to facilitate discussions on international solutions in foreign policy and security, as well as the development of strategic priorities for Germany, Europe, and the transatlantic community.

The Munich Forum aims to promote strategic debates on fundamental issues of foreign policy and security policy, as well as the development of strategic priorities for Germany and Europe.

The event is held annually at the Elmau Castle in Upper Bavaria.

The first such event took place in 2015.
