The discussion in Geneva regarding U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine should be productive. This statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel.
"It is good that diplomacy is being activated and that the conversation can be constructive," the politician stated.
Zelensky commented on the start of negotiations in Geneva on the U.S. peace plan with the participation of representatives from Ukraine and Western countries and spoke about the close contact between the delegations. "A positive result is needed for all of us," he added.
Earlier, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, held the first meeting in Geneva regarding Trump's peace plan. The official described the mood as "very constructive" and announced plans for a series of meetings in various formats.
