NATO stated that it will not be able to quickly share intelligence with Kyiv without the U.S.
If the U.S. refuses to share intelligence with Ukraine, NATO will not be able to do so as quickly. The consequences of such a move by Washington were revealed by James Appathurai, NATO's special representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia and acting head of NATO's DIANA (Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) program, in an interview with Politico.
He stated that the U.S. capabilities in this area are unique. Appathurai emphasized that it is impossible to fully replace the United States as a supplier of such information. According to the politician, although Europe has its own space programs that allow for the transmission of intelligence to Ukraine already now, a complete transition to European technologies will be long and costly.
