The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump may include the supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv in its plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This is reported by The Washington Post (WP) citing American officials.

"The sovereignty of Ukraine cannot be put at risk under any circumstances," one of the key officials told the publication's journalist.

According to WP's sources in the White House, the security guarantees for Ukraine in Trump's peace plan are "not yet strong enough." It is assumed that the American leader may tighten or, conversely, lift the limit on the number of Armed Forces of Ukraine to 600,000 personnel.

One American official stated to the publication that the 28-point plan may be revised in the coming days. At the same time, the Trump administration "100 percent" supports the continued provision of intelligence data to Ukraine.
