During a meeting with the Servant of the People faction, the President of Ukraine indicated that he would not dismiss Andriy Ermak amid the corruption case in 'Energoatom'.
Volodymyr Zelensky refused to dismiss his ally Andriy Ermak from the position of head of the President's Office (OП) of Ukraine amid a corruption scandal surrounding the state energy company 'Energoatom'. Zelensky indirectly communicated his refusal during a meeting with deputies of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People party, reported on Thursday, November 20, by the publications 'Ukrainska Pravda' and Hromadske.
At this meeting, deputy Marianna Bezuhla asked the head of state whether he planned to dismiss the head of the OП and other officials. 'Zelensky said that personnel matters in the President's Office are the responsibility of the president and made it clear that there would be no dismissal of Ermak,' one of the participants in the conversation with Zelensky told 'Ukrainska Pravda'.
Meanwhile, 'quite a few' members of the Servant of the People party believe that Andriy Ermak should resign, notes 'Ukrainska Pravda' citing Rada deputy Fedor Venislavsky.
