The President of Finland, Alexander Stubbs, urged Europe to continue providing military and financial support to Ukraine despite the high-profile corruption scandal. He expressed this opinion in an interview with the Associated Press (AP).
Stubbs stated that European leaders need to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine as it is forced to confront Russian troops gradually advancing on the battlefield. At the same time, the President of Finland noted that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky needs to address the allegations of embezzlement and bribery as soon as possible.
The President of Finland, Alexander Stubbs, also stated that one should not expect a ceasefire in Ukraine this year. According to his forecasts, the start of peace negotiations should not be expected before March 2026.
