U.S. President Donald Trump accused London Mayor Sadiq Khan of inaction amid rising crime in the city. The American leader made this statement to the British television channel GB News.

In the interview, the head of the United States criticized Sadiq Khan for catering to crime and called the London mayor a disgusting person. "He is a disaster, he is a disgusting person who is complicit in crime," the American president condemned Khan. Trump admitted that he would not have even known about Sadiq Khan if he had not been appointed as mayor.

The events happening in Europe, the American leader considers madness. Trump claims that in the British capital, as well as in Paris, there are areas that the police do not even want to approach, where Sharia law prevails. "Today, people are being stabbed in the back, or worse," said the U.S. president. Trump added that the Mayor of London is allowing immigrants to live by Sharia law, ignoring British legislation.

This is not the first time Trump has accused Sadiq Khan of adopting Sharia law. During the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, the U.S. president exclaimed that the European Union's migration policy would ultimately destroy it.
